Comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation for missing teeth, impaired chewing function, and temporomandibular joint discomfort
The patient presented with the following concerns:
- inability to chew food comfortably and effectively;
- significant aesthetic deficiencies affecting the appearance of the smile;
- pain and discomfort in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
The complexity of the case required a multidisciplinary approach involving specialists from several fields of dentistry. Following a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, a personalized treatment plan was developed to restore function, improve aesthetics, and achieve long-term stability of the stomatognathic system.

Treatment process
01
Therapeutic stage
Comprehensive oral rehabilitation was carried out, including professional dental cleaning, cavity treatment, and root canal therapy. This helped eliminate sources of infection and prepare the oral cavity for the subsequent stages of treatment.
02
Surgical stage
An All-on-6 implant rehabilitation was performed in the upper jaw. Immediately after implant placement, a temporary full-arch prosthetic restoration was tried in and securely fitted. Additionally, dental implants were placed in the areas of teeth 36 and 37 to restore the lower posterior chewing region.
03
Prosthetic stage
The patient's centric relation was recorded to re-establish proper function of the stomatognathic system. The teeth were then prepared for the planned restorations, followed by digital impressions and shade selection. Once the restorations were fabricated, they were carefully tried in and permanently placed to achieve optimal function, aesthetics, and long-term stability.
