Diagnostics
- DIAGNOCAT artificial intelligence scan interpretation
- High-precision 3D dental diagnostics
- Advanced diagnostic complex
The key to effective treatment in modern dentistry is competent diagnostics. A comprehensive approach, accurate and competent assessment of the condition of the mouth allows us to develop an optimal treatment plan. In this case the treatment can be carried out quickly, and the final results can be predicted in advance.
DENTART Clinic in Kyiv guarantees you an accurate diagnosis. It is based both on the profound expertise of our doctors, who conduct a detailed examination of the patient's mouth, and modern equipment necessary to perform X-ray and/or computed tomography (CBCT).

Initial diagnosis
The obligatory stage of diagnostics in modern dentistry remains the medical examination and questioning of the patient. Our dentists visually assess the condition of your teeth and gums, listen carefully to your complaints, and find out how long you have had them.
Additionally, within this basic diagnostic stage, we ask about certain harmful habits and other personal peculiarities. And only then the other, namely instrumental diagnostic methods such as computer tomography can be applied.
Three-dimensional diagnostics with computed tomography
DENTART uses high-end Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). This equipment for oral diagnostics guarantees 3D visualization of all measurements with the highest precision (down to hundredths of a millimeter).
The CT scan in dentistry enables to diagnose dental caries at an early stage and detect other asymptomatic pathological processes in the dentin and oral tissues. Here it is much more effective than any other method of examination.
Other advantages of CLCT include:
- maximum accuracy and no distortion in the images obtained;
- possibility of studying the examined area from any point as well as layer-by-layer analysis of the image;
- speed and time saving. CT diagnosis of the teeth gives the image of the entire dentoalveolar system. Thus, this information can be used for different types of treatment;
- low radiation exposure during diagnostics, as small as one short flight.
Radiological diagnostics in dentistry
X-rays remain the basics for precise diagnosis, including detection of dental caries and other problems. Without this handy type of examination, it is extremely difficult to make an effective treatment plan for a patient.
This type of diagnostics allows to:
- detect internal inflammation;
- detect tooth decay;
- detect the localization and size of cysts;
- find tumors;
- assess the quality of root canal filling;;
- diagnose abscesses, various anomalies in the bone structure, etc.;
- detect impacted teeth;
- estimate precisely the depth of caries.
This diagnostic procedure is required in almost every field of dentistry: therapeutic (caries removal, root canal treatment), orthodontic (bite correction), aesthetic (implants), prosthetics. In addition to diagnostics, radiography is also used to assess the quality of the manipulations performed by our doctors and to monitor the recovery dynamics of our patients.
