Treatment process

Restorative stage
An initial consultation with a periodontist was performed, including a comprehensive assessment of the teeth and periodontal tissues, followed by the development of an individualized treatment plan. Professional oral hygiene was performed under a dental microscope, including ultrasonic removal of hard dental deposits, AirFlow removal of soft plaque, tooth polishing, and remineralization therapy. Deep caries was treated.

Surgical stage
In accordance with the comprehensive treatment plan, tooth 48 was extracted.

Prosthodontic stage
An initial consultation with a prosthodontist was performed, including a comprehensive assessment of the clinical situation and planning of the full-mouth prosthodontic rehabilitation. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) of the temporomandibular joints was performed for functional treatment planning. The centric relation of the upper and lower jaws was determined using a facebow and a Kois deprogrammer. Digital functional diagnostics using the Zebris system were performed to analyze the position and movements of the mandible. Diagnostic models were fabricated using 3D printing for detailed planning of the future prosthodontic rehabilitation. The prosthetic restorations were tried in and subsequently placed.
Treatment results:
As a result of the comprehensive treatment, a harmonious, natural-looking smile was created with individually designed tooth shapes and proportions.
