Dental treatment under a microscope in Kyiv
- World standard
- Maximum accuracy
- Minimizing the risks of re-inflammation
Today, dental treatment under a microscope has become a global dental standard, as well as a benchmark for precision, extra visual control and the highest quality of all the work carried out by the dentist.
Our DENTART clinic in Kyiv uses powerful dental microscopes, which are applied for all types of dental treatment, including therapeutic, surgical and orthopaedic. You don't need to pay separately for a root canal filling under the microscope - we use this equipment by default to do everything faster, more accurately and with minimal risk of complications. For other manipulations, our doctors will discuss the use of magnification with you individually.

Advantages of dental treatment using a microscope
Thanks to the microscope, our specialists can:
- Achieve microsurgical precision. As a result, we can only remove the damaged tooth tissue, preserving the healthy tooth tissue. This means that the tooth will later serve you longer than when working without magnification.
- Speed up various procedures. Magnification provides optimal visual control and perfect visibility. As a consequence, some procedures now require a single visit to us, whereas without magnification a minimum of two visits would be required.
- Minimise the risk of complications and/or secondary inflammation.
How Do We Use Dental Microscopes?
The use of magnification allows our dentists to perform the following dental procedures:
- conduct thorough diagnostics of diseases in their early stages, identifying subtle and minor problems;
- perform microsurgically precise fissure sealing (sealing depressions and cusps present on molars). This work requires both gentle and thorough treatment. Without a microscope, it's almost impossible to assess what type of cleaning is needed in each specific case. Magnification allows for high-quality cleaning of tooth chewing surfaces before fissure sealing;
- achieve perfect polishing after filling placement (including after root canal treatment). This is not just an aesthetic consideration but also an important therapeutic aspect. If the filled area becomes seamlessly integrated with the tooth enamel, without irregularities and microcracks, the filling will last much longer;
- perform high-quality prosthodontic treatment (minimally invasive preparation for veneers, lumineers, crowns) and aesthetic restoration;
- treat cavities;
- perform root canal treatment, including the removal of broken instruments from root canals.
Dental Microscope for Root Canal Treatment
Magnification has become indispensable and almost mandatory today in root canal therapy. Using a microscope allows for precise and efficient treatment of root canals of any depth. DENTART specialists can check their dimensions and direction, detect fluid in the canal and remove it, thus preventing cyst formation.
Using a microscope, our endodontists can navigate the most sclerosed (narrowed) root canals, remove broken instruments, and achieve maximum cleanliness and dryness of the canal, which is essential for quality treatment and practically impossible to achieve without optical equipment.
Powerful magnification also allows us to detect and remove non-contrasting filling material, which is still encountered in dental practice. For effective problem-solving, it's first necessary to remove the old filling material from the canal. Powerful magnification helps detect its tiniest remnants. Our dentist, using a dental microscope, can thoroughly clean the canal, eliminating the risks of subsequent inflammation.
Moreover, treatment using optical equipment enhances your comfort. You can lie in a comfortable, relaxed position. The dentist doesn't "hover" over you but remains at a comfortable distance (up to half a meter away).
